Life Centre Opens
Five years of work was completed this year, with The Street City Church moving into their new offices on the first floor of 21 Hania Street, Wellington. This important heritage building dates from 1942. Designed by Edmund Anscombe, its original purpose was the Disabled Servicemen’s Vocational Training Centre. The Street City Church purchased the building with a long-term view to much-needed space. That vision has been realised in stages:
